Associate (non-voting) School Membership is open to Minnesota schools with an approved charter that have not yet opened.

By joining as a MACS Associate – Pre-Operational School Member, you become an active part of a professional Association committed to promoting innovation, quality, choice and accountability in public education by promoting charter schools in Minnesota. MACS addresses these goals through advocacy, information, resources and support.

HOW TO JOIN MACS TODAY:

To join as a pre-operational school member, you will need to fill out and return the following to our office:

• An Associate Member - Pre-Operational School Application form (download below), and
• A check for the appropriate dues amount

Pre-Operational School Membership Dues (2013-2014):

Given that school approval and funds disbursement comes at different times during the year depending on when a school is approved, there are four quarterly joining periods. The dues for a school that joins during the period of:

• July – September (the year before the school is set to open) =  $2500 
• October – December (the year before the school is set to open) =  $1875
• January – March (the year in which the school is set to open) =  $1250
• April – June (the year in which the school is set to open) =  $625
