Chris Brown is a faculty member in the College of Education at Augsburg College in Minneapolis. He received his B.S. in secondary education social studies from Bemidji State University, a Master's in education from the University of Sydney in Sydney, Australia, was selected as a Bush Leadership Fellow, and has extensive graduate level coursework from the University of Minnesota. He was also a Peace Corps volunteer in the central Pacific island country of Kiribati. Chris has taught high school social studies, organized cross-cultural programs for refugees and immigrants in several Minneapolis and St. Paul high schools, was a founding member and the director of a St. Paul charter middle school, and the original founder and director of Lincoln International High School. He was also on the original design team for Crosswinds Middle School. In his spare time he enjoys camping, hiking, traveling, photography, and spending time with his family.
