Job Description

The Summer Camp Coordinator works under the Head of School to coordinate summer camp programs for ages 6-15. The Camp Coordinator is a part time, 10-15 hour weekly position from January through May. Beginning in June and lasting through mid-summer it is a 40-hour full time position working Monday-Friday. A few evenings and weekends are required. The Summer Camp Coordinator is the main communication and administrative lead regarding Summer Camp programming at Great River School. This person will assist in program development, marketing, accounting, logistics, and supervision of participating teachers and students.

Responsibilities:
Develop and distribute marketing materials including brochure
Set up and track registrations and billing
Collaborate with Head of School to hire staff
Oversee curriculum design for camps
Create systems and support structures for schedules, attendance, and logistics
Manage and order supplies
Schedule buses and organize trips
Order supplies
Ensure smooth camp operations daily
Arrange for substitute teachers and lunch coverage and provide backup supervision as needed
Additional duties as assigned
