Government Affairs

One of the strategic outcomes of the MN Association of Charter Schools (MACS) is to be the recognized public policy voice of Minnesota’s charter school community.

The Association seeks to accomplish this goal by initiating legislation that promotes charter school autonomy, quality and innovation; blocking legislation that undermines autonomy, quality and innovation; informing stakeholders of agendas, outcomes and political processes; encouraging and supporting grassroots advocacy; and representing charter schools with state and federal agencies.
