MN Legislature & Laws
The MN Legislature is composed of the House of Representatives and Senate. The 134 members of the House of Representative are elected to two-year terms and the 67 members of the Senate are elected to four-year terms of office. The session in odd-numbered years is the budget session and the session in even-numbered years is known as the bonding session.
