MACS Public Policy Agenda
The public policy agenda of the MN Association of Charter Schools is a statement of the collective issue positions and priorities of member schools that guides the Association’s advocacy work.
The agenda is based on a set of Principles for Government Affairs which serve as the basic framework for creating legislative agendas, advocacy efforts, lobbying activities and cooperative public policy actions with other organizations.
The current Public Policy Agenda of the Association is reflected in the Association’s Policy Statements and Legislative Platform.
The Government Affairs Committee facilitates the process for creating the Association’s public policy agenda, policy statements and legislative platform which are approved by the board of directors and ratified by the membership.
