2008 MACS Board of Directors Election for School Member Representatives


Eligibility information:


To Be Elected:
Two (2) representatives from member schools.

Term of Office:
July 1, 2008 - June 30, 2011

Persons Eligible:
A school director, teacher, staff member or board member of an operating charter school that is a member of the MN Association of Charter Schools.

Only one individual from a school is eligible to serve on the Board at any one time.

Self Nomination:
Eligible individuals must submit a self-nomination form.

Nomination Period:
Nominations will be accepted beginning Monday, March 17th, 2008 and close at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 11th, 2008. Nominations may be submitted by email, fax, or U.S. mail.

Election method:
Electronic balloting. The MACS Official School Representative of each operating member school will be sent an electronic ballot on Monday, May 5th, along with candidate bios and nominations statements.

Election period:
Monday, May 5th, 2008 – Monday, May 12, 2008
(Balloting will close at 4:00 pm on May 12th.)

Eligible Voters:
The designated MACS Official School Representative of operating schools that are members of MACS as of April 30, 2008.
