July 1, 2009 – June 30, 2012 (Three year term)
Persons Eligible to Serve on the MACS Board:
A school director, teacher, board member of a operating charter school that is a member of the MN Association of Charter Schools. Only one individual from any school is eligible to serve on the Board at the same time.
Nomination Process:
Eligible individuals must submit a self-nomination form – although the Board Development will solicit individuals to consider nomination for the board.

Nomination Period:
Monday, March 23th, - Thursday, April 9, 2009 – [Nominations close at 3:00 p.m. on April 9th.]
Election method:
Electronic balloting. The MACS Official School Representative of each operating member school will be sent an electronic ballot on Monday, May 5th, along with candidate bios and nominations statements.
Election period:
Monday, May 5th, 2008 – Monday, May 12, 2008
(Balloting will close at 4:00 pm on May 12th.)
Candidate Information Sessions:
Via conference call – 2: one during the week of March 23 and another the Week of March 30th.
Schools Eligible to Vote:
Operating charter schools that are members of the MN Association as of March 30, 2009. The designated MACS Official Representative from each member school may cast that school's official vote in the election.

Monday, May 4 – Monday 11, 2009 – [Balloting will close at 3:00 pm on the 11th. Only ballots received by 3:00 p.m. on the 11th will be counted.]
