Charter School Champion Award



The MN Association of Charter Schools is pleased to announce the establishment of the Charter School Champion Award. The Champion Award is designed to recognize individuals in the legislative or executive branches of Minnesota government who have championed the cause of charter schools through specific action requiring outstanding service, political courage and/or the expenditure of political capital.

The recipients of the award will be selected by the MACS Public Policy Committee on an annual basis.

The first Charter School Champion Award recipients will be honored at the MN Association of Charter Schools Annual Meeting Dinner Celebration on Thursday, November 6, 2008, which will be held at the Holiday Inn East, St. Paul.



How To Nominate Someone:

All MACS members (schools, sponsors and individual members) are invited to submit nominations for this award annually. For a nomination form and guidelines, please download the following documents:

Deadline for Nomination Submissions:

For the first annual Charter School Champion Awards of 2008, nominations will be accepted until Tuesday, June 26, 2008
