As of July, 2008, the MN Association of Charter Schools will be communicating with the charter community on public policy issues and legislative updates via a new method - conference calling. Charter school directors, sponsor liaisons, and other interested parties will be invited to participate in these periodically scheduled conference calls; these calls will also be offered on a regular basis throughout the legislative session to keep the charter community abreast of current legislative issues and happenings.
July 9, 2008 - 2008 OLA Charter School Report
The first MACS teleconference call took place on Wednesday, July 9, 2008. Over twenty individuals, including charter school directors and sponsor liaisons, took part in this inaugural discussion regarding the recently released Office of the Legislative Auditor (OLA) report on charter schools.
