Communicating With Your Legislators

We encourage you to contact your local representatives and share the positive role your charter school has had for your students and for the local community.

How To Communicate:
The MN Legislature has an excellent page explaining the dos and don'ts when communicating with your local legislator, and we highly encourage you to check this information out by clicking here.

Our office has also created a quick and handy guide for communication tips and strategies to get your message across to your local legislators, which you can download via the following link:

Who Represents Me?:
Through this link, you'll also find further information on the contact information for your legislators, how to properly address letters, and even how to find out who represents you locally - we've also put together some easy reference charts for you, however, on the legislators who represent your school district. Please check out our "Charter Schools by Legislative District" page for further information.

You may also find contact information for your legislator by visiting the State Legislature's site at www.leg.state.mn.us. For a sortable list containing the House of Representatives information, click here. For a sortable list containing the Senate information, click here.
