MACS Board of Directors General Election Information


When?
Elections for the MACS Board of Directors are held annually during the month of May. Nominations are solicited from eligible individuals in the charter community during the months of March & April, and balloting information is then provided to operating MACS member charter schools for the voting process during May.

Who is Eligible?
Individuals eligible for nomination to the school member positions include a school director, teacher, or board member of an operating charter school that is a member of the MN Association of Charter Schools - this individual must be designated as the MACS Official School Representative.

Only one individual from a school is eligible to serve on the Board at any one time.
