The mission of the MACS Public Policy Committee is to promote the adoption of legislation that promotes public school choice, enhances the effective operation, and assures quality and accountability of charter schools in Minnesota.

Principles

To accomplish this mission, the Public Policy Committee will develop principles to guide all public policy positions of the Association, develop the annual MACS legislative agenda for approval by the Board and ratification by the membership, and develop goals and initiatives for communicating the legislative agenda with policymakers, the public, and with members.
