Normally, The MN Association of Charter Schools offers a free basic information session to answer questions of those exploring the idea of developing a charter school in Minnesota; however, during the spring months before the next charter application deadline (May, 2008), our office will be offering the following option to potential charter developers:
Individually Arranged Meetings
Beginning in January, 2008 the MN Association of Charter Schools will offer our basic 2 hour information session, entitled "So You Want to Start a Charter School," for individual school development groups.
(This is a change in approach from the monthly sessions that have been held alternatively in Minneapolis and St. Paul for the last 15 months. This change will do two things: make these sessions more available to groups outside of the metropolitan area, and allow for dealing with the specific issues and concerns of individual school development groups.)
