Sojourner Truth Academy (STA) is currently seeking committed, passionate, educators who hold a belief in the ability of our scholars, to join our team of licensed teachers and highly qualified paraprofessionals for the 2020-2021 school year in the following teacher position:

Middle School Math Teacher

Sojourner Truth Academy is a PK-8 open-enrollment public charter school in Minneapolis, MN. $38,000-$48,000+ Experience-based, Teachers

Sojourner Truth Academy is a Pre-K-8 public charter elementary school in North Minneapolis with proven academic and fiscal records. Established by parents and community members in 1999, we continue to offer our students a data driven, balanced curriculum with a highly qualified staff. Teacher Leader Teams drive and operate STA’s academic program with fidelity. Teacher Teams analyze instructional gaps; research best practice; develop, implement, and train teachers on school-wide learning profiles. Profile fidelity and academic performance data inform on-going professional development and instructional program decision-making. Fifty-three percent of our teachers hold leadership roles and 62% of our staff are people of color.
