Job Title: Office Manager
Reports to: Executive Director
Management Role: Manager
FSLA Status: Non-Exempt
1 FTE: Office Manager
1. Act as the receptionist for the school and administrative offices
2. Distribute mail and supply shipments
3. Establish and maintain student record files
A. Send out record requests and track arrival
B. Forward transferred student records in a timely manner
4. Establish and maintain computerized student records, including maintaining daily student
attendance on JMC; address changes, phone number changes
5. Maintain a record of all entries and withdrawals of students in the school
A. Notification of Change in Enrollment Form
B. Maintain class list
C. Maintain and upload MARSS data; coordinating with EL and SPED records
6. Do monthly lunch and attendance reports
7. Do STAR reports
8. Assist in registration of new students
9. Help manage copy machine
A. Call for service/ repairs
B. Report copier meter
10. Order general office and classroom supplies and copy paper
11. Fill in for Nurse when she is not present
12.Keep substitute records
13.Assist in putting together the School Newsletter
14. Oversee process for producing and sending report cards
15.Set up Robocalls
16.Send reminder notes to parents
A. NO school days
B. Early release days
C. Event dates or changes
Coordinate School Picture Days and schedule class participation
17.Coordinate 6
th grade promotion festivities and invitations
18. Maintain weekly incidents of behavior in JMC
19. Maintain yearly reports of violations with MDE
20. Perform other miscellaneous office duties as may be assigned or requested by the
Executive Director

Working Conditions
Light Work - Exerting up to 20 lbs. of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly
to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg control requires exertion of forces greater than that of
sedentary work and if the worker sits most of the time, the job is considered light work.
Physical Requirements:
● Stand or sit (stationary position) 60% of day
● Walk (move, traverse) 40% of day

Previous Office Manager experience desired
Previous MARSS experience very helpful
