Job Description

Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of young people? Kalon Prep Academy is seeking a part-time Art teacher to join an amazing team of teaching professionals.

Kalon Prep Academy is seeking a dynamic and innovative teacher experienced in working with teenagers from a variety of backgrounds. Kalon Prep Academy is a 9-12 grade charter school with a mission of meeting, “students where they are and guide them where they want to go. We will do so by listening, leading and launching them on a path to become the best version of themselves.” We are seeking an individual who shares our values of participating in an institution where all students and staff cooperate to create a strengths-based, whole student, career and college focused environment.

Qualifications

1. Licensure Requirements: Minnesota licensure in Art
2. Education: BA/BS from accredited college or university

Preference - a familiarity with CliftonStrengths based processes

Institution Description

Kalon Prep is a charter high school in Alexandria, MN. Kalon Prep is a strengths-based, whole student, college and career focused school. Students can access curriculum in a blend of on-campus experience, online access and whole group instruction. A 15:1 Student/Teacher (Instructional Coach) Ratio will be maintained throughout the institution.
