Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Teacher. Someone who is positive, energetic, and can educate and motivate students to learn and grow and fulfill their academic potential base on HOPE’s instructional curriculum.

- Review, understand and implement the requirements of federal mandates, MN Department of Education (MDE) regulations and the Title I and the Volunteer Pre-K grants
- Implement a variety of assessment instruments to determine eligibility and instructional needs of students in reading.
- Provide pre- and post-assessment data to program supervisor.
- Lead the title 1 with all academic assessments such as progress monitoring, weekly assessment, etc.
- Coordinate and develop the Title 1 program in the school based on guidelines established by the District and state and federal governments.
- Provide information to teachers about best practices in the area of reading.
- Plan professional developments for title 1 teachers.
- Lead title 1 teachers, organize title program priorities.


- B.A/B.S. degree in teaching from an accredited institution or related field of teaching
- Minnesota State Licensure in teaching in appropriate subject area, Reading License required
