Job Description

We are looking for a Middle School English Teacher who is positive, energetic, and can educate and motivate students to learn and grow and fulfill their academic potential base on HOPE’s instructional curriculum.

Someone who brings…
- Strong desire and commitment to working with diverse students and staff
- Flexibility to interact effectively with students, parents, and other school staff, the administration, and community members of diverse ethnic/racial and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Ability to collaborate with grade level teachers, paraprofessionals, and tutors regarding instructional classroom activities
- Ability to plan and implement lesson plans base on school goals, as well as the objectives, and needs of students.
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to diverse student populations
- Knowledge of classroom management and organization

Qualifications

Qualifications:
- B.A/B.S. degree in teaching from an accredited institution or related field of teaching
- Minnesota State Licensure in teaching in appropriate subject area
