Job Description

Job Summary: To plan, organize and implement an appropriate learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential base on HOPE’s instructional curriculum for students. Work is performed under the supervision of the principal.

Primary duties:

- Anticipate the needs of students, staff, and parents and guide the educational experience to ensure an engaging, relevant, and dynamic learning environment.
- Implement policies & procedures that align with District, State, and Federal requirements
- Oversee a Data Management Process that engages staff members
- Establish procedures for monitoring and regulating processes, tasks or activities of subordinates, and job activities to accomplish strategic objectives
- Identify ways to elicit support for change and establish stability during change processes to expand organizational capacity
- Engage and participate in professional development, lifelong learning, and annual goal setting processes
- Facilitate gathering data to make informed decisions
- Maintain current knowledge of appropriate financial systems and manage them accordingly
- Prioritize financial allocations according to needs and collaborate with site teams to develop budgets that reflect agreed goals and meets strategic learning objectives

Qualifications

Qualifications:
- Minnesota Elementary/Secondary School Principal's License
- Previous experience in administration, internship or other leadership roles is preferred
- Previous experience with Hmong language and culture, leadership and development preferred
- Experienced leading elementary instruction; specifically, the five pillars of reading.
- Experienced leading distance learning
- Experience and knowledge of ELD and Reading
- Experience with curriculum and instructional development
