Submitting Relicensure Application Materials

Applicants may send their relicensure application materials to the Minnesota Association of Charter Schools via email or fax only. Materials must be submitted as one single PDF (if emailed) or as one complete fax (if faxed).

Submissions should be emailed to relicensure@mncharterschools.org or faxed to 651-789-3093. A confirmation email will be sent to the applicant's provided email address once their submission and Review Fee payment have been received and processed.

Submissions must be received by the stated submission deadline for the scheduled meeting which the applicant would like their materials reviewed.

Submissions must follow all Committee requirements, using the proper forms and placing all materials in the correct order.

Submission Review Process

The MACS Relicensure Committee will review all incoming submissions at their next meeting.

An email notification on the status of each applicant's submission will be sent within five (5) business days after the Committee meets.

  • Relicensure application materials will not be sent back to applicants
  • No originals should be submitted

When the Relicensure Committee approves an applicant for relicensure, the MACS office will provide instructions for completing the online application with the Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB). Applicants will then need to complete the online application for license renewal through PELSB.
