Meeting Dates, Submsission Deadlines & Review Process
2019-2020 Meeting Dates & Submission Deadlines
The MACS Relicensure Committee will be meeting to review applications on the following dates:
- Wednesday, January 22 (submit by Friday, January 17)
- Wednesday, February 19 (submit by Friday, February 14)
- Wednesday, April 29 (submit by Friday, April 24)
While applications can be submitted at any time, please note that since our Committee is made up of volunteer teachers and administrators, applications will only be reviewed on the dates listed above.
Submitting License Renewal Materials
Applicants must send their license renewal application packets to the Minnesota Association of Charter Schools office via email or fax. Packets should be emailed to: firstname.lastname@example.org or faxed to: 651-789-3093.
Packets must be received by the stated deadline for the scheduled meeting at which that the applicant would like their materials reviewed.
The MACS Relicensure Committee will review your renewal application packet at the next meeting.
An email notification of the status of your submission will be sent to you within five (5) business days after the committee's review.
- Renewal Application materials will not be sent back to applicants.
- No originals should be submitted.
When the Relicensure Committee approves your renewal application, the MACS office will provide instructions for completing the online application with PELSB. You then need to complete your online application for license renewal through PELSB.
